The adventure in Peru will begin upon your arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, where our team will greet you and accompany you on a private transfer to your hotel.
After a long journey, the day is designed to be taken at a leisurely pace. Depending on your arrival time, you can rest and then discover some of the most representative places in the city of Lima.

Day 2 | Lima – Puerto Maldonado – Tambopata River – Tambopata Lodge
From the coast to the Amazon
After breakfast, private transfer to Lima airport to take the flight to Puerto Maldonado. Upon your arrival, our team will welcome you and we will begin the journey to the heart of the Tambopata National Reserve.
From the port, we will sail along the Tambopata River to the Tambopata Lodge, enjoying the first Amazonian landscapes and, hopefully, spotting birds and wildlife. At night, we will take a walk to discover the sounds and inhabitants of the forest. Dinner and accommodation at the lodge.
Day 3 | Chuncho Macaw and Parrot Clay Lick – Tambopata
A meeting with wildlife
Before dawn, we will navigate the Tambopata River toward the Chuncho Clay Lick, one of the great natural spectacles of the Amazon. If the conditions are favorable, we will be able to observe hundreds of parrots and macaws gathering at the clay lick.
In the afternoon, we will explore the Amazon rainforest on an ethnobotanical walk, discovering trees and plants representative of the jungle. As night falls, we will embark on a boat ride in search of caimans. Dinner and accommodation at Tambopata Lodge.
Day 4 | Sandoval Lake – Puerto Maldonado
The essence of the Tambopata National Reserve
After breakfast, we will return to Puerto Maldonado and continue toward Lake Sandoval, one of the most iconic landscapes of the Tambopata National Reserve. After a walk through the forest, we will canoe on the lake, surrounded by the extraordinary diversity of birds and Amazonian fauna.
At the end of the experience, we will return to Puerto Maldonado. Dinner and accommodation at the Maldonado Hotel.
Day 5 | Puerto Maldonado – Cusco – Sacred Valley
From the jungle to the Andes
After breakfast, private transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival, our team will greet you and accompany you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Subsequently, we will continue toward Pisac, one of the most representative towns of the Sacred Valley.
Depending on the pace of the day, we will make a brief visit to the archeological site and we can stop at one of the valley viewpoints to admire the vast landscapes.

This day we will leave the Sacred Valley to discover a more authentic facet of the Andes, combining the history of Ollantaytambo with an experiential tourism experience with a traditional community.

Before continuing toward the mountains, we will stroll through the traditional streets of Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca towns in the Sacred Valley.
We will stroll through its ancient streets and traditional houses, visit the Casa del Cuy, and closely observe the daily life of its inhabitants, discovering how the Inca legacy is still present in the village.
An authentic experience in Patacancha
We will continue our journey to Patacancha, where we will be welcomed by a local family in a meeting designed to bring us closer to the living traditions of Andean culture.
The welcome will be accompanied by traditional music and dances, creating a special connection with the community from the very first moment.

After breakfast, we will leave our hotel in the Sacred Valley heading to Ollantaytambo, where we will visit one of the most important archeological complexes of the ancient Tahuantinsuyo empire.

Accompanied by our guide, we will explore the Inca fortress and its main sectors, discovering its extraordinary architecture and engineering.

What is the best time of year to make this trip?
The program operates year-round. Between May and September, you will find sunny days and cold nights, with clear skies over the Andes. From November to March, the landscape transforms: intensely green mountains, fewer visitors, and rains that usually concentrate in the afternoon. Each season offers a different experience, and our team will guide you based on your available dates.
Are there set release dates?
No, since it is a trip for a small group, from 2 to 6 participants, we do not have fixed departure dates. You can choose the date that best fits your itinerary, with a minimum of 2 participants to confirm the departure and a maximum of 6 people per group.
If there is already a confirmed group for a specific date, you can also request to join that outing. The confirmation is subject to the availability of hotels, trains, and tickets to Machu Picchu.
This flexibility allows you to organize your trip based on your international flights, vacations, or a special celebration and enjoy an experience tailored to your plans.
Can I customize the itinerary?
Yes, the program is a starting point, not a closed structure. We can adjust the number of nights per destination, incorporate hotels of your preference, substitute experiences, or modify the pace of the itinerary. Share your interests with us and we will present you with a proposal tailored to your way of traveling.
Is it possible to extend the trip to other destinations in Peru?
Of course. This itinerary naturally combines with Lake Titicaca, the Colca Canyon and Arequipa, the Nazca Lines, or the northern coast. We recommend defining the extensions at the time of booking to ensure the best flight connection and the continuity of private service.
What are the booking and payment conditions?
The reservation is confirmed with an initial payment of 50% of the program's value, and the remaining 50% is paid 60 days before the start date. That first payment allows us to immediately manage the tickets to Machu Picchu, the train tickets, and the domestic flights, services with limited availability that sell out months in advance. Securing them early ensures that your trip unfolds as planned.
What is the cancelation policy?
We understand that travel plans can change. Therefore, our cancelation policy establishes the following conditions, according to the advance notice with which we receive the written cancelation request via email:
More than 90 days before the start date: only the non-refundable expenses already committed will be retained, plus US$ 200 per passenger for administrative management fees.
Between 90 and 61 days: a penalty equivalent to 50% of the total program value will be applied.
Between 31 and 60 days: a penalty equivalent to 75% of the total program value will be applied.

Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
The services linked to your identity document, your entry to Machu Picchu, your train tickets, and your domestic flights cannot be transferred once issued. Land services can indeed be transferred with more than 60 days' notice. Let us know the situation as soon as possible and we will inform you of the exact fare difference.
What happens if my international flight is delayed and I miss a service?
In the event of an international flight delay, our team will immediately assess the available alternatives and, when possible, will reorganize the remaining services to minimize the impact on your trip.

No specific vaccine is required to enter Peru; however, if the program includes a stay in the Amazon, in Puerto Maldonado – Tambopata Lodge, the yellow fever vaccine is recommended for this area.
