Upon arrival, our guide will provide us with a safety briefing and driving instructions, followed by a 15-minute practice session, perfect for getting familiar with the ATVs and feeling confident before starting the adventure.
Once we are familiar with the quad bike, we will head to Moray (3,500 meters above sea level / 11,482 feet), traveling along roads surrounded by agricultural fields, mountains, and spectacular views of the Sacred Valley. The total duration of the tour is two hours (round trip).
The first stop will be at the archeological site of Moray, where we will have time to explore this fascinating Inca agricultural laboratory, where the circular terraces create different microclimates for the experimentation of various crops. It is a place steeped in history, framed by the landscapes of the three circular terraces.
Subsequently, we will return on ATVs to Cruzpata, to continue the journey aboard our tourist vehicle toward the Maras Salt Mines (3,380 meters above sea level / 11,089 feet). Upon arrival, we will enjoy the landscapes of the thousands of natural salt wells that descend the mountainside and have been exploited artisanally since pre-Hispanic times.
