More than just visiting the Sacred Valley, you will live its traditions, share experiences with its people and discover the essence of the Andes.
The experience begins at around 08:00 a.m. with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. The first destination of the trip is Ccaccaccollo, and along the way you will enjoy incredible landscapes of the Sacred Valley.
Ccaccaccollo Community
On arrival in Ccaccaccollo you will be welcomed by representatives of the community with their traditional dances and welcome music. Our local guide will then give a short introduction to the history and traditions of this Andean community, and why preserving them matters.
During the visit you will have the opportunity to see the daily life of local families up close and take part in a traditional weaving experience. You will learn about the art of Andean weaving, a tradition practised by both women and men. In this demonstration you will see how they make their textiles using traditional techniques and their well-known natural dyeing process. You will also be able to take part in the weaving itself and learn the meaning behind some of their designs.
Experience at Parwa
The journey then continues towards the village of Huchuy Qosqo (Parwa), where you will visit the community garden and see some of the products that will be part of your culinary experience. Parwa is a community project that gives visitors the chance to discover local traditions and customs through a range of Andean dishes.
It is an opportunity to learn about local traditions, discover regional flavours and connect authentically with the communities that keep Andean culture alive.
Visit to Ollantaytambo
After lunch we continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative towns of the Sacred Valley. We will walk through its Inca streets and visit its main temples, terraces, agricultural platforms and historic enclosures, appreciating the remarkable planning and architecture of this ancient Inca centre.
Return to Cusco
At the end of the visit to Ollantaytambo we begin the journey back to Cusco in private tourist transport. Arrival in the city is scheduled for around 06:00 p.m., bringing to a close an unforgettable day of community tourism in Ccaccaccollo, Parwa and Ollantaytambo.

What is the reservation process like?

Step 3 - Deposit and confirmation: a guarantee per person is required to secure the space. It is recommended to book in advance, especially during holidays and peak season.
Step 4 - Final confirmation: once the reservation is confirmed, the traveller receives the official invoice and their spot is guaranteed 100%.
Can the date be cancelled or changed?
Yes, it is possible to cancel or change the date of the reservation up to 48 hours before departure. In these cases an administrative fee applies, which is deducted from the total amount as appropriate.
