The experience of the Q'eswachaka and 4 Lagoons tour begins early in the morning, around 5 AM, with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. The journey is made in tourist transportation toward the Southern Valley, crossing beautiful high Andean landscapes.
The first stop of the tour will be in the town of Cusipata for breakfast, offering various Andean gastronomic options to recharge energy for the adventure. Continuing with the journey, there will be a brief stop at the Combapata Viewpoint, from where you can enjoy incredible views of the Southern Valley, an ideal moment for photographs.
Next, we will head toward the Pabellones Volcano, a unique geological formation that stands out for its small size, approximately 9 meters in height. This small, completely inactive volcano retains a perfectly visible crater that allows for close observation of its unique characteristics, making the visit one of the most curious experiences of the trip.
After the visit to the volcano, the journey will continue to one of the star destinations of the trip, the Inca Bridge of Q'eswachaka. This characteristic bridge is entirely handwoven with plant fiber (q'oya) and is renewed every year using the same technique that the Incas employed over 500 years ago. Those who wish can cross the bridge and experience walking over this work of ancestral engineering, while contemplating the course of the Apurímac River.
