Itinerary summary:

Day 1: Cusco - Soraypampa - Humantay Lake

The adventure begins by traversing the stunning Andean landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco until reaching Challacancha, the starting point of the hike. During this first day, you will also visit the spectacular Humantay lagoon. At the end of the day, you will enjoy a restful night in comfortable mountain cabins.

Day 2: Soraypampa - Abra Salkantay - Cusco

The second day will be dedicated to exploring the stunning surroundings of the Salkantay snow-capped mountain. During the tour, you will enjoy panoramic views, fresh air, and natural settings that make every step of the journey a unique experience. After a lunch surrounded by mountains, you will begin the journey back to the city of Cusco.

Salkantay Pass - 4,630 meters above sea level / 15,190 feet: It is the highest point of the Salkantay Trek, a place where the best panoramic landscapes of the route can be appreciated.

It is also known as the Salkantay Pass.

Humantay Lagoon - 4,200 meters above sea level / 13,780 feet: Impressive turquoise lagoon located at the foot of the Humantay snow-capped mountain. It is one of the main natural destinations in Cusco due to its great beauty.
